Allied/Len Gordon MM-1TD-W-99 Air Switch Control (910535-001)
Allied Innovations’ MM-1TD-W-99 Air Switch Control is a 120V safety interface for tub pumps that prevents activation until water is at a safe level, and adds a 10-minute delay to minimize nuisance starts. Designed for fiberglass or cultured marble tubs, it integrates with Len Gordon MM series air switches or the ETD motor mount switch to protect both the pump and tub installation.
Model & Compatibility: MM-1TD-W-99; must be used with Len Gordon MM series air switch or the ETD motor mount switch.
Electrical Ratings: 120VAC, 1HP, 50/60Hz, 2-wire plus ground; 16A maximum running load.
Tub Type & Fit: Designed for fiberglass or cultured marble tubs with wall thickness up to 1".
Safety Feature: Prevents pump activation unless water in the tub is above a predetermined safe level.
Delay Function: Built-in 10-minute delay to reduce startup cycling and protect the pump.
Indoor Use: Rated for indoor installations; suitable for residential bath setups.
Discontinued Status: Discontinued by the manufacturer; replacement recommended CAST-201-010-01-04C.
This control helps ensure a safer, more reliable pump operation by aligning pump activity with actual tub water conditions. The 10-minute delay provides an extra buffer against accidental starts during power fluctuations or temporary water level changes, while the water-level safety threshold guards against dry-running and potential damage. Although the MM-1TD-W-99 is discontinued, it remains a proven option for restoring or maintaining legacy spa and tub systems and can be substituted with CAST-201-010-01-04C for continued compatibility with MM series air switches.
